Iran Will Issue Electronic Visa for all Countries
Visa, a conditional authorization granted by a country, can determine a foreigner to enter a country, remain there and leave it. The Iranian deputy foreign minister for consular affairs, Hassan Qashqavi, announced that Iran will stop issuing paper visas. By May 2018, Iran will issue an electronic visa for all countries.
In a meeting in which a number of cultural officials, lawmakers, tour operators, state and private travel associates attended, Hassan Qashqavi promised: “We will definitely terminate granting paper visas”. Therefore, travelers from 190 countries can obtain a one-month-validation visa on arrival at Iranian airports.
There are some countries that can now travel to Iran without a visa. They are Azerbaijan (15 days); Bolivia (30 days); Egypt (20 days); Georgia (45 days); Lebanon (15 days); Syria (90 days); and Turkey (90 days).
